Andrea Pirlo is wanted by Liverpool

Liverpool are in talks to sign Andrea Pirlo in a stunning summer transfer deal, according to reports.

Pirlo, 35, has one year left on his contract with Juventus but there has been talk he could move at the end of the campaign.

And now talkSPORT quotes Italian sources saying Liverpool have made a move to bring in the Italian.

It would be a stunning transfer if Liverpool could pull it off, with Pirlo arguably being one of the finest pass-masters in Europe in recent years.

We want this to happen badly.
