Arsenal are set to revive their hunt for Schalke's Julian Draxler.
The Gunners were linked with a move for the German youngster in January 2013 but a deal never materialised.
Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City have all been linked with the playmaker in recent times and reports now claim Arsene Wenger is interested once again.
EYES ON THE PRIZE: A host of clubs are chasing Draxler
The Daily Express cite sources in Italy who claim Arsenal are weighing-up a £30m move.
Wenger this week insisted he was only targeting world class players to improve his squad over the coming months.
Schalke put up a stern resistance to Draxler leaving in the past and they're sure his future is brightest if he stays with the Bundesliga club.
At the start of the year Schalke chairman Clemens Tonnies said: "We have absolutely no thoughts about him leaving on short notice.
"Schalke is the place where he can develop best and I told him that in person."
"My opinion is also, that Julian has developed greatly, especially regarding his personality."
"He had a setback with his injury and, as with every big player at a young age, he had a weaker period. But Julian will have a fantastic career."
