Stirling Albion vs Stenhousemuir preview - Stirling looking to the future

Relegated Stirling will be without the suspended Lee Hamilton as they look to send neighbours Stenhousemuir into a play-off fight for survival.

Kevin McKinlay and Adam Cummings are both back in contention following their respective bans, but Steven Doris remains sidelined with a stomach muscle injury.

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We have started building towards next season and winning this game would help as everyone will feel better about themselves.

"It would also help the manager Stuart McLaren and I as we look to build a winning mentality and show progress in terms of winning games. There is also a bit of local rivalry at stake, so we are keen to win this one."

Stenhousemuir will be safe from relegation if Ayr lose at Forfar, provided they get a second win of the season at Forthbank, but they will be without Martin Grehan, who is suspended.

Manager Brown Ferguson said: "I am not looking at anything else other than planning a win.

"A draw is no use as we simply have to pick up the three points to have a chance. If we don't win then it does not matter what happens elsewhere.

"We won 4-0 on our last game there and a repeat of that gives us a chance, but I am sure that Stirling will make us work incredibly hard for it."
