Cowdenbeath welcome Lewis Milne back after an ankle injury forced him to miss the last three games as they attempt to defeat champions Hearts and take a huge step towards safety.

Thomas O'Brien, Kenny Adamson and Colin Nish are all expected to shake off knocks to feature but Sean Higgins is absent with a groin problem.

Central Park manager Jimmy Nicholl said: "It is not a do or die match but it would certainly be a fantastic game to win.

"Everyone knows they beat us 10-0 in the last game but this has got nothing to do with revenge we want the win to help us stay in this division."

Hearts striker Dale Carrick could be in line to feature.

Carrick has recovered from a hamstring injury and head coach Robbie Neilson is considering giving him some game time at Central Park.

Left-back Adam Eckersley is suspended while goalkeeper Neil Alexander (broken finger) and forward Billy King (ankle) are out for the season.

Neilson said: "We definitely have to change our style of play. It's a really tight pitch, the surface isn't that great at this time of the year and there's not a lot of grass on it, it's dry and it's bobbly."
