Stranraer vs Greenock Morton preview - Pettigrew to serve suspension

Stranraer will be without the suspended Craig Pettigrew as they look to keep control of top spot in League One by defeating visitors Morton.

However, Grant Gallagher is available again. With the game kicking off at 5.30pm, the Blues could be playing for the title come kick-off time, but manager Stephen Aitken is playing things cool.

Aitken said: "We will know the Forfar result by the time we kick off, however it is not going to change anything. Our tactics will remain the same as Morton will be thinking that if they beat us they can be champions next week."

"Whatever happens beforehand will not make this game any easier."

Morton miss goalkeeper Nico Caraux, who has a groin injury.

Stefan Milojevic and Conor Pepper are also both ruled out with knee problems.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "There is not much between the teams but Stranraer do have a slight advantage by being at home, however, despite that, we will be going out to try and win. Nothing will be decided if we are successful but we will be in with a stronger shout come the last round of fixtures.

"It took us a while to get going at Stirling last weekend but when we did we won 2-0. I am looking for us to start where we left off."
