Udinese vs AC Milan preview - Antonelli sets sights on Europe

AC Milan appear to have the ideal opponents when they take on Udinese at the Friuli stadium on Saturday.

The Rossoneri have clinched just three wins on the road this season and just one in their last 11 away games.

They take on an Udinese side that has mustered just one victory in their last 10 home games.

"We hope we can return to winning ways already on Saturday and bring home three points," AC Milan defender Luca Antonelli said on his club's official website."

The Rossoneri have collected just two wins in their last six games.

Last weekend's 0-0 result at Inter Milan in the derby was their second straight draw and left the Rossoneri in ninth place.

Milan are seven points behind the last Europa League qualifying spot with seven games remaining.

"There are still 21 points up for grabs," Antonelli said. "We still believe we can qualify for European football next season and we don't want to fail.

"Our coach has told us that we have seven finals left and we need to take as many points as possible."

Injuries have hampered Milan this season.

Filippo Inzaghi's side will be without five players that are hurt, including captain Riccardo Montolivo.

Udinese go into the encounter looking for their first win since March 8. The Bianconeri have collected just four points since and last weekend's 1-1 draw at Chievo saw their winless run extended to six games.

Udinese, meanwhile, are 15th in the standings, 12 points clear of the drop zone.

Andrea Stramaccioni's team have struggled at both ends of the pitch.

The Friuli side has scored just three goals in its last four league games while it has kept just one clean sheet in its last 10 encounters.

Udinese will not be at full strength with defenders Maurizio Domizzi and Molla Wague out injured and midfielder Bruno Fernandes suspended.
