Cheltenham Town vs Shrewsbury Town preview - Cheltenham hold Burns hope
Posted Friday, April 24, 2015 by PA
Cheltenham hope to have Wes Burns available when they entertain a Shrewsbury side looking to seal promotion.
The Robins missed their Bristol City loanee as they went down to Northampton but the Welsh attacker looks to have overcome an ankle problem and boss Gary Johnson is hopeful he can be involved.
Town, one point from safety at the foot of the table, will assess Danny Haynes (groin) but sent Pablo Mills, Kane Ferdinand and Shaquille McDonald back to their parent clubs following loan spells at Whaddon Road.
Lee Vaughan (hamstring) looks set to miss out once more along with Asa Hall, (Achilles) and Jordan Wynter (knee) and this match may come too soon for Will Packwood (hamstring).
Keith Southern is out for Shrewsbury.
The midfielder is sidelined with a knee injury but is the only new absentee for Micky Mellon's side who will be promoted with a win.
They are second in Sky Bet League Two, two points behind leaders Burton and five ahead of fourth-placed Southend.
Nathaniel Knight-Percival and James Wesolowski are out with long-term knee injuries and will return next season.
