Sheffield Wednesday quartet Keiren Westwood, Jose Semedo, Will Keane and Claude Dielna could all return to action against Leeds.
Goalkeeper Westwood (calf), midfielder Semedo (foot), on-loan Manchester United striker Keane (ankle) and defender Dielna (hamstring) have all missed out through injury in recent weeks.
But midfielder Filipe Melo (foot) and Kamil Zayatte (fractured cheekbone) are out after sustaining injuries in last week's draw at Bournemouth.
Skipper Glenn Loovens remains sidelined with a long-term hamstring injury.
Leeds defender Aidy White could make his first appearance of the season.
White, who has struggled with an ankle injury sustained in a pre-season friendly against Chesterfield in the summer, is hoping to play some part off the bench.
Midfielder Lewis Cook (ankle) is still out, defender Giuseppe Bellusci (hamstring) is not expected to feature in the final two games and strikers Mirco Antenucci and Edgar Cani are both still nursing the knocks that kept them out last week.
Goalkeeper Marco Silvestri (back) has returned to light training after he missed the defeat at Charlton, while forward Souleymane Doukara and defender Dario Del Fabro have trained this week.
