Brighton & Hove Albion vs Watford preview - Hughton could ring changes

Brighton boss Chris Hughton could make changes for the visit of table-topping Watford.

Hughton was not impressed with the performance in the 2-1 defeat by Wigan which kept Brighton in the relegation mix, although Millwall's midweek loss subsequently eased any lingering fears of the drop, with the Seagulls now six points and 24 goals clear with two games remaining.

Joao Teixeira (broken leg), Sam Baldock, Andrew Crofts (both knee), Kemy Agustien (thigh) and Solly March (calf) are all still on the sidelines.

Jake Forster-Caskey, Rohan Ince and Chris O'Grady are among the players pushing for recalls.

Watford can add Matthew Connolly to their squad as they look to edge a step closer to promotion.

Connolly is back in contention after recovering from the hamstring injury which kept him out of last weekend's 1-0 win over Birmingham.

But fellow defender Joel Ekstrand and midfielder Sean Murray are still out with knee injuries, although the latter this week resumed light training.

Striker Fernando Forestieri was back on the bench last Saturday following a month out with a knee problem and should be involved again.
