Scunthorpe United vs Bradford AFC preview - Same again for Robins

Posted Monday, April 20, 2015 by PA

Scunthorpe boss Mark Robins is expected to select his starting XI from an unchanged squad.

Robins has no major new injury or suspension worries as the Iron bid to secure the win that could guarantee their safety.

Defender Alex Davey has missed the last two games due to a calf strain and remains doubtful, with Andrew Boyce hoping to continue.

Winger Hakeeb Adelakun is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up after his late equaliser at Colchester on Saturday.

Bradford pair Jon Stead and Gary Liddle could return to the starting line-up after being rested at the weekend.

Striker Stead and midfielder Liddle were among the substitutes in Saturday's draw at Sheffield United, but boss Phil Parkinson has confirmed they will be "back in the reckoning".

The Bantams will be without defender Rory McArdle, who starts a two-game ban for his dismissal following two yellow cards on Saturday.

Mark Yeates, nursing a shoulder problem, is doubtful. He stepped off the bench on Saturday but was withdrawn in the closing stages and fellow winger Filipe Morais is not expected to return.
