Juventus are said to be interested in Chelsea midfielder Ramires this summer as a potential replacement for Paul Pogba, who is a target of several European giants including the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, as reported by The Daily Star.
According to the newspaper, the Italian champions are preparing for life without Pogba next season, with the Brazilian international and Benfica midfielder Alex Witsel said to be at the top of their list of replacements for the 22-year-old.
Pogba is wanted by a host of big clubs around Europe this summer, and seems destined to leave the Old Lady at the end of the season despite being on course for another Serie A title.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported by The Daily Star, Ramires is believed to be Juventus' first-choice to fill the French international's boots, but the 28-year-old has struggled to make an impact at Stamford Bridge this term.
The Brazilian midfielder has made 21 appearances, scoring one goal and with an average pass accuracy of 80%. When compared to Pogba, the 22-year-old has scored seven goals in 22 appearances, with an average pass accuracy of 83%.
Juventus are 12 points clear at the top of Serie A, whilst Chelsea are 10 points clear at the top of the Premier League following their 1-0 victory over Manchester United earlier this evening.
Next up for the Blues is an away clash with second-placed Arsenal next week at the Emirates.
