Peterhead 1 - 0 Forfar Athletic: Redman ends Forfar run

Forfar lost top spot in Scottish League One after slipping to a 1-0 defeat at Peterhead.

James Redman's first-half strike proved to be the only goal and victories for Stranraer and Morton saw the visitors drop to third in the table.

The decisive moment came in the 37th minute when Redman headed in from Steven Noble's pass for his first goal since the 3-2 victory against the same opponents on March 10.

Redman had gone close in the 15th minute when his well-struck shot flew over the crossbar while Jordon Brown also threatened with a header which was saved by Rab Douglas.

The veteran goalkeeper also did well to deny Brown just after the half-hour but was beaten by Redman soon after as Forfar's five-match winning run was ended.
