Brazilian football expert Tim Vickery has questioned Chelsea's decision to splash out £4.5m on Atletico Paranaense midfielder Nathan.
NEW MAN: Chelsea are set to spend £4.5m on Nathan
Nathan has played for Brazil's Under-17 side but is yet to feature for a full 90 minutes for current club Atletico.
And Vickery reckons the player has done little to show he's capable of a Premier League switch in his career to date.
"It's difficult to see why they [Chelsea] quite want to spend so much money on him," he told.
"He's a playmaker who can thread a little pass and did well at under-17 level but poorly at under-20 level."
"It's difficult to see what he has done in the last season to justify it."
"I think you could see him as a potential first teamer for Vitesse Arnhem in Holland."
