Fulham vs Rotherham United preview - McCormack set for Fulham start

Posted Tuesday, April 14, 2015 by PA

Ross McCormack is set to lead the line for Fulham as they attempt to banish any lingering fears of relegation against fellow strugglers Rotherham.

McCormack has been carrying a knee injury lately but still managed to hit his 15th goal of the season in the 2-2 draw with Wigan last Friday.

Midfielder Danny Guthrie and defenders Jazz Richards and Nikolay Bodurov missed out against the Latics with knocks and will be assessed.

Lasse Vigen Christensen (hamstring) and George Williams (cruciate) are still on the sidelines.

Rotherham will have skipper Craig Morgan back in the fold.

The centre-half has missed the last two games due to a suspension for 10 yellow cards and he could be handed a recall.

Forward Danny Ward is in contention to start after his recent forays from the bench following five games out with foot and knee injuries.

Boss Steve Evans, whose club face a potential points deduction for fielding an ineligible player, admits he may be forced to adopt a more attacking mentality in light of their possible Football League punishment.
