Brechin City vs Stirling Albion preview - Hard luck Storie

Brechin are without on-loan Aberdeen midfielder Craig Storie against Stirling.

Storie is sidelined with a knee injury and Gerry McLauchlan is struggling with a calf problem, but Alan Trouten is poised to return after cracked ribs.

Manager Ray McKinnon said: "We won down at Morton last Saturday and that was a terrific result. We created a lot of chances and it was a well-deserved win. We handled the occasion well as there was pressure on us to win and keep control of fourth place.

"Stirling have improved as a side throughout the season so we will need to hit the heights we hit last Saturday to pick up another important win."

Stirling, who will be relegated if they fail to win, are missing injured strikeforce Darren Smith (knee), Lewis Coult (knee) and Steven Doris (stomach).

Assistant manager Martyn Corrigan said: "This will be a hard game as Brechin are a very good side who hit you very hard on the break. We have put a lot of work into our training sessions this week into stopping them defensively and hopefully that will pay off.

"There was not a lot between us and an Airdrie side that sit next to Brechin in the league when we met them last week so we can go there with some confidence."
