Ipswich vs Blackpool preview - Trio pushing for Ipswich starts

Freddie Sears, Teddy Bishop and Jonny Williams will be pushing for starts when Ipswich welcome relegated Blackpool to Portman Road in the Sky Bet Championship.

Sears and Bishop were introduced at half-time during the 2-1 defeat at Huddersfield on Easter Monday while Williams, in his third spell with Town, came on in the 67th minute.

David McGoldrick, who has not featured since early February, did not travel to West Yorkshire after sustaining a thigh injury and will be assessed.

Having picked up just one point over Easter, Town find themselves in eighth place and three points adrift of a play-off place with just five games remaining.

Blackpool have lost winger Michael Jacobs after he was recalled from his loan at Bloomfield Road by parent club Wolves.

Tuesday night's 1-1 draw with Reading, the Seasiders' third successive stalemate, came at a cost with goalkeeper Joe Lewis and defender Grant Hall forced off with injury.

Lewis has an ankle injury and would be replaced by Ell Parish in the line up while Hall suffered concussion and hurt his ankle when Yakubu's shot smacked him in the face and caused an own goal.

The Seasiders, who are already without Tom Aldred (hamstring), Miles Addison (knee), Henry Cameron (ankle) and Mark Waddington (foot), still need one point to reach the lowest-ever total accumulated in the second tier when there have been 24 teams.
