Wenger: Wilshere won't be sold

Wilshere has been the subject of newspaper rumours linking him with a move to City, but Wenger has moved to brush off such stories.
City need to increase their quota of homegrown players, with Frank Lampard leaving this summer and James Milner is also rumoured to be considering leaving the club. That would leave Joe Hart as the only English member of their first-team squad.
Wilshere has suffered from a series of injuries over the last few seasons. He has made 46 Premier League starts in 47 months for Arsenal.
Asked about the rumours linking Wilshere with a move away from the club, Wenger was firm and brief.
"You can imagine my answer," Wenger said.
"We are not in a position anymore where we have to sell our best players. We cannot make a case of any headline in any newspaper in a press conference from things that are not true."
Wenger also confirmed that Wilshere came through this week's Under-21 match unscathed, and could be fit for selection against Burnley on Saturday.
