Granada CF 1 : 1 Celta Vigo - Late goal denies Granada victory

Ten-men Granada were cruelly denied a remarkable win as substitute Theo Bongonda's 93rd-minute equaliser earned a 1-1 draw for Celta Vigo.
The Belgian youngster scored exactly 90 minutes after Robert Ibanez had given the hosts an early lead, and the late goal was all the more difficult for the Andalusians to swallow as they had survived the final 50 minutes of the game with 10 men after Jeison Murillo was dismissed for picking up two bookings inside two minutes.
Abel Resino's side move on to 24 points but stay second bottom of the Primera Division and three from safety, while Celta move above Espanyol into 11th spot.
Granada were eviscerated 9-1 by Real Madrid in their last outing, a match Resino called the worst of his career as a player or coach, but they got off to an ideal start here.
Just three minutes were on the clock when Piti charged down the left-hand side and cut the ball across to the middle of the box for Ibanez to meet and smash home on the rebound after his initial shot bounced off a Celta defender.
But despite going behind, the Galicians kept their heads up and immediately searched for a response, with Santi Mina missing a good opportunity to equalise from inside the area, failing to keep his shot under the bar.
Granada were dealt a huge setback due to two successive rash challenges by Colombian defender Murillo in the 37th and 39th minute, both resulting in bookings and handing the Galicians the numerical advantage for the whole second half.
Predictably Celta dominated after the break but Gustavo Cabral, Mina and Joaquin Larrivey all squandered good opportunities to level, and it looked as if Granada were going to ride out the victory and pick up three points for the first time in four matches.
However, Celta were boosted by the referee adding on five minutes of stoppage time and they levelled in the third, with Bongonda proving the pinball wizard in the six-yard area, finishing off a team move to break Granada's hearts.
