Deportivo La Coruna - Cordoba C.F. preview - Laure confident of Depor's survival

Deportivo defender Laure insists everyone at the club is convinced they will survive in the Primera Division ahead of their massive game at home to bottom side Cordoba.
Victor Fernandez's side sit just one point above the relegation zone following a 2-1 defeat at Getafe on Sunday and remain without a league win since February.
Wednesday's visit of struggling Cordoba will be seen as a great chance to edge away from the bottom three and Laure believes everyone at the Riazor is confident Deportivo will not fall through the relegation trap-door.
"I'm convinced that we are going to be safe," he said.
"If you are not convinced then it does not help the mood in the dressing room. All the players are convinced (the club will stay up) but when it comes to games we are missing some things.
"We know that what we have done is not going to get us anywhere. We have to improve and take that step forward. It has been a tough season with many ups and downs."
Cordoba have certainly endured a season to forget and travel to La Coruna anchored to the foot of the table having lost their last 10 league outings.
The sides drew 0-0 in November but interim coach Jose Romero believes this is a last chance for Cordoba to keep their survival hopes in tact.
"It is a sequence of adversity that we need to digest quickly," he said.
"We are working on targeting the maximum level of concentration during this match. They are a team like us, a similar situation.
"As we go on we are exhausting all of our possibilities but for us this game is one more chance, a final chance. The players must be aware of that and therefore they must play with a greater intensity."
If Cordoba can pick up all three points for the first time since January 12, they will move to within five points of their hosts with a home game against 16th-place Elche next up.
