Huddersfield Town - Ipswich preview - Powell to monitor troops

Huddersfield manager Chris Powell will assess his squad on Sunday ahead of Easter Monday's visit of Ipswich.

The Terriers, who have one day less to prepare than their opponents, earned a 1-1 draw at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and any injuries or knocks will be checked.

If everyone has come through okay, then Powell will select from the same squad, though he could be tempted to change things around with Ishmael Miller pushing for a start in attack.

Powell said: "We'll see them on Sunday morning, hopefully everyone is okay and we will be fighting fit for the game."

Ipswich defender Tyrone Mings is unavailable as he completes a two-match suspension.

New signing Zeki Fryers, borrowed from Crystal Palace, made his debut at left-back during the Good Friday draw with second-placed Bournemouth, which left the Tractor Boys outside the play-offs on goal difference, and is set to continue in Mings' absence.

Boss Mick McCarthy could be tempted to throw David McGoldrick (thigh) and Jonny Williams (groin), also on loan from Palace, back into his starting line-up after they returned to the bench following 10-game and five-month injury lay-offs respectively.

Darren Ambrose (hamstring) is back in training although he still may not feature over Easter, while Jonny Parr (hamstring) and Kevin Bru (calf) missed the game against the Cherries.
