Fleetwood Town - Yeovil Town preview - McLaughlin to boost Fleetwood

Conor McLaughlin will bolster Fleetwood's options on Easter Monday against Yeovil.

The Northern Ireland international has served a two-game ban, triggered by his 10th caution of the season, and he could slot in at right-back for a Cod Army side which remains in play-off contention.

McLaughlin's return could be timely too as Tyler Forbes, who has played at right-back, came off in the victory over Gillingham having suffered a slight calf injury.

Gareth Evans and Steven Schumacher both have knocks which manager Graham Alexander, who remains without Danny Andrew, Jeff Hughes and Jamille Matt, expects the midfield pair to overcome.

Yeovil could hand a start to Joel Grant when they make the long trip north.

The Jamaican winger only arrived back midway through Thursday after international duty with his country and so boss Terry Skiverton only introduced him in the second half of their 3-2 loss to Chesterfield on Good Friday.

But, with time to recover, Grant could be pushed into the starting line-up as Yeovil look to pick themselves up having thrown away a 2-0 lead last time out.

Captain Joe Edwards looks set to miss out once more with an ankle injury while goalkeeper Scott Loach has returned to Rotherham after his loan spell ended.
