Notts County - Coventry preview - No new worries for Notts

Notts County have no new problems as they prepare to host relegation rivals Coventry.

Caretaker managers Paul Hart and Mick Halsall may opt to make changes to the starting line-up after somehow escaping from the Banks's Stadium with a 0-0 draw against Walsall, as the Magpies goal led a charmed life on Friday.

Alan Smith and Liam Noble are among those hoping for recalls after dropping out of the side for that game while fellow midfielder Nicky Wroe, defenders Blair Adams and Mike Edwards and striker Balint Bajner are also options.

Ronan Murray, Curtis Thompson and Taylor McKenzie will remain out for Notts, who will climb out of the bottom four and above the Sky Blues with victory on Monday.

Nick Proschwitz could return to Coventry's squad following injuries to fellow forwards Dominic Samuel and Marcus Tudgay.

Samuel returned to parent club Reading after sustaining a season-ending fractured ankle in Wednesday's defeat to Leyton Orient while Tudgay continues to struggle with a hamstring problem, meaning on-loan Brentford striker Proschwitz could get his chance to impress Tony Mowbray.

Defender Reda Johnson (muscle tear) may not be risked against County despite playing 45 minutes for the Sky Blues' Under-21s on Thursday.

James Maddison, out for three months with a back problem, is expected to return to the bench for Coventry, who have won their last three matches on the road and are two points above the drop zone.
