Chesterfield - Crewe Alexandra preview - Spireites strong for Crewe test

Chesterfield will be at full strength when they host relegation-threatened Crewe.

Blues boss Paul Cook has named an unchanged team for the last two matches but he could freshen things up on Monday, with midfielder Jay O'Shea pushing strongly for a recall following his game-changing introduction from the bench at Yeovil on Friday.

Forward Gboly Ariyibi, who came on at half-time against the Glovers along with O'Shea, is another who could come into Cook's thinking for a starting place.

A third game in seven days might be pushing it for veteran Ritchie Humphreys and it would be no surprise to see the 37-year-old rested.

Steve Davis may make a couple of changes after a goalless draw at home to Crawley, with Anthony Grant missing through suspension.

Nicky Ajose is another who may miss out after making way early in the second half as he continues a barren spell of six weeks without a goal.

Ryan Colclough's comeback took another step forward with half an hour from the bench and he could replace either Ajose or Grant, while James Jones and Marcus Haber are also pushing for recalls following their spells away with their countries.

George Cooper (knee) is nearing a return but this game may come too soon, while Liam Nolan (ankle), Ben Garratt (broken leg) and Matt Tootle (ankle) have returned to training.
