Cowdenbeath 3 - 0 Dumbarton: Big win for Blue Brazil
Posted Sunday, April 05, 2015 by PA
Cowdenbeath boosted their Scottish Championship survival hopes with a 3-0 win over Dumbarton.
Blue Brazil goalkeeper Robbie Thomson made early saves to deny Dylan Easton and Mitchel Megginson, while his opposite number Danny Rogers kept out Lewis Toshney's shot.
But Toshney made the breakthrough a minute before half-time when he tucked in a pass from Kudus Oyenuga for his first goal for the club.
Three minutes after the break it was two as Oyenuga found Sean Higgins in the area and the striker buried his seventh goal of the season.
And Colin Nish opened his account for Cowdenbeath when he headed in Colin Marshall's cross 11 minutes from time.
