Hibernian FC vs Real Sociedad preview - Hibs can count on Hanlon

Hibernian defender Paul Hanlon has handed boss Alan Stubbs a boost by declaring himself fit for Saturday's game with Queen of the South at Easter Road.

The centre-back returns from the hamstring strain which saw him miss the 2-1 defeat by Raith Rovers last weekend.

However, right-back David Gray could miss the Championship run-in after being ruled out for the next four weeks with a hamstring injury of his own.

Queen of the South midfielder Mark Millar will miss out at Easter Road due to the hand injury he picked up against Hearts last Saturday.

The Doonhamers are also without Paul Burns (hip) and Iain Russell (knee).

Manager James Fowler said: "We lost in Edinburgh last weekend but there were a lot of positives in our performance. It was much improved from the performance when we lost against Raith Rovers so we can go into this game with confidence.

"We are in the middle of a tough run of games but getting something from Hibs would set us up nicely for moving back into the top four."
