Stevenage vs Tranmere preview - Stevenage wait on Parrett

Posted Thursday, April 02, 2015 by PA

Stevenage will check on the fitness of Dean Parrett ahead of the visit of Tranmere.

Midfielder Parrett limped off during Monday evening's 1-1 draw at Burton and was replaced by Ben Kennedy.

Harry Worley (knee), Calvin Zola (hamstring) and David McAllister (groin) are on the mend following spells out but the clash will probably come too soon.

Winger Bruno Andrade is available after his loan spell from QPR was extended until the end of the season.

Josh Thompson could bolster Tranmere's defensive options.

The defender has missed Rovers' last two games after suffering a second recent head injury but, after completing the concussion protocol, he played for the reserves in midweek.

Midfielder Rob Taylor is once again doubtful because of the hamstring strain which has caused him to miss a cluster of their Sky Bet League Two fixtures recently.

Cole Stockton (hernia) and Matt Hill (Achilles) are both back in training but this clash comes too soon for the pair while Marcus Holness (knee) and Jason Koumas (hamstring) are still long-term absentees.
