Crewe vs Crawley preview - Late call on Crewe duo
Posted Thursday, April 02, 2015 by PA
Crewe will make a late assessment on the returning James Jones and Marcus Haber prior to Crawley's visit.
Midfielder Jones has played a full 90 minutes in all three of Scotland Under-19's games over the past seven days while Canada striker Haber played in Puerto Rica on Tuesday night for his country.
George Cooper could come into the mix after missing last weekend's win at Sheffield United having tweaked his knee, while George Ray (ribs) was an unused substitute and Ryan Colclough (hernia) marked his first appearance in 16 months with the winner at Bramall Lane.
Liam Nolan (ankle) trained this week, as did Ben Garratt (broken leg) and Matt Tootle (ankle), but Fraser Murdoch (knee) is further away having suffered a setback with a toe injury.
Dean Leacock is back in contention for Crawley after more than three months on the sidelines.
The defender has not played since Boxing Day due to a groin injury but could be added to the squad.
New full-back Kelly Youga is available to make his debut after receiving international clearance following his move to Town last week.
Midfielders Conor Henderson (ankle) and Josh Simpson (hamstring) are the only injury absentees for boss Dean Saunders.
