Tranmere Rovers vs AFC Wimbledon preview - Green set for Rovers bow

New signing George Green could make his Tranmere debut against AFC Wimbledon at Prenton Park.
The Everton midfielder has arrived on the Wirral until the end of the season as Rovers manager Micky Adams bids to win four of the final eight fixtures, a return which he believes will secure their Football League safety.
On-loan forward Jordan Hugill will have to come out of starting XI, though, after he returned to Preston only to be sent back out to Hartlepool, who are one of Tranmere's relegation rivals.
Midfielder Steve Jennings returns from suspension and Danny Holmes (knee) has declared himself fit, but Adams is not expecting any of his other injured players to come back, so Rob Taylor (hamstring), Jason Koumas (hamstring), Cole Stockton (hernia), Marcus Holness (knee), Matt Hill (Achilles) and Josh Thompson (head) will all miss out again.
AFC Wimbledon will check on winger George Francomb, who missed last weekend's win over Portsmouth after suffering a back injury in training.
Veteran midfielder Dannie Bulman is still unavailable as he serves the final game of a three-match ban.
The Dons' only other injury concern is manager Neal Ardley, who admits he is 'doubtful' for the clash.
Ardley was due to undergo a hip operation on Thursday so assistant boss Neil Cox and first-team coach Simon Bassey are poised to take charge.
