Dani Alves wants Barcelona stay and will snub Liverpool & Man United

Barcelona full-back Dani Alves wants to snub the advances of Premier League giants Manchester United and Liverpool, in favour of a stay in Catalunya, reports Goal.
The Brazilian's contract is up in June, allowing him to leave Barcelona for free if he wanted to, but Goal report that the right-back is hoping to stay at Camp Nou, rather than move abroad at the end of his current deal.
Alves is keen to remain in Catalunya, so he can be near to his family, his children and his ex-wife Dinorah Santana, who is also still his agent. He is settled in Spain and would ideally choose to remain there, if terms can be agreed with Barcelona.
Luis Enrique does not have a concrete replacement for the veteran Brazilian at right-back, given the lack of consistency shown by Martin Montoya and Douglas in the position, so keeping hold of Alves - during Barcelona's ongoing transfer ban - makes sense from the manager's point of view as well.
However, Goal report that the only real sticking block remaining in talks between Alves and Barcelona is the length of his potential new deal.
The 32-year-old wants to sign on for three more years, or for two more with the option of an additional season, but Barcelona would prefer to give him up to two seasons - and that would ideally be from a 12 month deal with the option of an extension.
Barcelona remains his first choice, but the Premier League sides could still be in with a chance if they fail to reach an agreement on his new deal in the coming months.
Alves has been a regular for La Liga's leading side this season, making 21 appearances in the top flight. He has won 62 tackles, 19 headed duels and created 24 chances during that time, often proving to be stronger going forward than he is defensively.
No Barcelona player has made more defensive errors than Alves' four this season, with two of those leading to a goal being conceded.
