Chievo vs Palermo preview - Rigoni: We must do better

Palermo travel to the mainland to face Chievo on Saturday desperately wanting to improve their away form in Serie A.
The Sicilian club has not tasted victory on the road since a 2-0 triumph at AC Milan on November 2.
While Giuseppe Iachini's side is just five points away from the 40-point mark which is normally considered enough to avoid relegation, Palermo's players want to prove their worth away from their home stadium.
One of them is Luca Rigoni, a former Chievo midfielder.
"We need to do better when playing on the road," Rigoni said to the Italian press. "We struggle away from home and that is partly down to the merit of our opponents.
"We still have some work to do in order to avoid the drop and we cannot depend solely on results at home."
Palermo's last victory in Serie A dates back to February 14.
Last week, they fell 1-0 at home to league leaders Juventus and dropped to 11th place.
The Sicilians have failed to score in their last three league games.
"It happens," Iachini said. "But I know that sooner or later my players will find the net.
"The important thing is that we create chances."
Chievo are worse off in the standings in 16th place, yet feeling upbeat after last weekend's 2-0 triumph at Genoa.
The outcome lifted the Flying Donkeys nine points clear of the drop zone.
They have lost just one of their last six games
Alberto Paloschi, who scored the two goals in Genoa, said: "We played a great game in Genoa.
"These are three crucial points that allow us to extend the gap with the bottom three.
"We have to give continuity to this performance."
Chievo are unbeaten at home since February 1 and have held Roma and AC Milan to draws at the Marc' Antonio Bentegodi stadium.
The hosts will be without midfielder Perparim Hetemaj, who is suspended.
