Charlton Athletic vs Reading preview - Luzon waits on Watt

Charlton boss Guy Luzon will check on Tony Watt ahead of the visit of FA Cup semi-finalists Reading.

Striker Watt had to go off 10 minutes from the end of Tuesday night's 3-0 win at Blackpool after picking up a knock and his fitness will be assessed.

Luzon is still without skipper Johnnie Jackson (leg) and left-back Rhoys Wiggins (calf), but he hopes to have the key duo back after the international break.

Winger Franck Moussa remains on the sidelines with a knee problem.

Reading will check on Nathaniel Chalobah ahead of the trip.

The on-loan Chelsea midfielder suffered a foot injury during the FA Cup quarter-final win over Bradford on Monday and left the ground in a protective boot, although boss Steve Clarke explained that was just a precaution.

Clarke has "one or two" other knocks and is likely to shuffle his pack following their cup heroics.

Oliver Norwood, Nick Blackman, Jake Cooper and Yakubu are all pushing for recalls but Anton Ferdinand is still out with a calf injury.
