Coventry vs Doncaster Rovers preview - Tudgay out for Coventry

Posted Friday, March 20, 2015 by PA

Marcus Tudgay is out for up to two weeks with a hamstring injury in a blow for Coventry.

He will be sidelined, starting with Saturday's visit of Doncaster, as the Sky Blues aim to pull away from the Sky Bet League One drop zone.

Reda Johnson (muscle tear) and James Maddison (back) have begun running but are unlikely to be considered for this game.

Aaron Phillips (concussion) is available though.

Doncaster will check on James Coppinger as they look for a first win in five games.

Coppinger has sat out the last two matches through injury and is close to a return to fitness but the midfielder will not be rushed back.

Rovers boss Paul Dickov has the likes of Cedric Evina, Jamie McCombe, Abdul Razak, Theo Robinson and Harry Forrester to call on should he wish to make any changes to his starting line up.

Midfielder Paul Keegan (knee) remains unavailable along with long-term absentee Rob Jones, out since mid-September following knee surgery. However, the experienced defender is closing in on a return to the first-team squad.
