"Cristiano Ronaldo should put a lid on his shows of arrogance"

SANTILLANA SLAMS PORTUGUESE'S BEHAVIOUR

Santillana has criticised the attitudes and behaviour that Cristiano Ronaldo can display on the pitch when he doesn't score or doesn't appreciate the way his team plays: "As a fan, I don't like to see Cristiano Ronaldo like that, but that's the way he is. He should still put a lid on his shows of arrogance, though".

The former Real Madrid player is one of the participants at the Nacex challenge, which involves various ex Barcelona and Real Madrid stars playing each other at golf and padel, and was held this morning at Sant Andreu de Llavaneres, just to the north of Barcelona.

The former player has also said that he doesn't see either team as favourites for Sunday's showdown. "If Real Madrid win at the Camp Nou, they'll have earned a moral victory, and if Barcelona win, then they'll be a little closer to winning the title; but I can't pick a favourite", he said.

Finally, Santillana defended Ancelotti: "When you're a player and you're on the pitch you don't hear anything, so I don't understand managers that bark orders from the sidelines. What really matters is that they have authority in the dressing room".
