Portsmouth vs Cheltenham Town preview - Robbo out for Pompey

Posted Tuesday, March 17, 2015 by PA

Portsmouth will be without captain Paul Robinson when they host Cheltenham.

The former Millwall centre-half had to go off against Luton on Saturday after suffering a suspected fractured cheekbone and was replaced by Adam Webster.

Fellow defender Ben Chorley could be added to the squad having missed out at the weekend despite being available after suspension.

Wing-back Josh Passley hopes to return after failing a late fitness test on a tight hamstring prior to Pompey's 2-0 victory over the Hatters.

Cheltenham have no fresh injury worries as they look to move away from the drop zone.

A 1-1 draw at Newport last Friday night left the Robins two points clear of the League Two relegation zone and they are likely to keep the faith with Will Packwood after an impressive Town debut while right-back Durrell Berry caught the eye having been recalled.

Another goal for Wes Burns means the Bristol City loanee will keep his place in what could be an unchanged starting line-up.

Trevor Carson will line up in goal against his former side.
