Preston North End vs Peterborough United preview - Preston strong for Posh test

Posted Monday, March 16, 2015 by PA

Simon Grayson is once again blessed with a fully-fit and suspension-free Preston squad against Peterborough.

In-form North End have taken 22 points from the last 24 available in Sky Bet League One and Grayson has seen little need to tinker with his starting XI as a result.

Grayson started with Joe Garner, Callum Robinson and Jermaine Beckford against Crewe, who deploy a 3-5-2, on Saturday and he may alter his formation to include Jamaica international Chris Humphrey this time around.

The likes of Neil Kilkenny and Sylvan Ebanks-Blake are also available to Grayson if he feels the need to shake things up.

Dave Robertson has no new problems as he looks to extend his perfect record in charge of Peterborough.

Robertson, who has won all four matches since taking over from Darren Ferguson, may recall Christian Burgess to the squad after opting to leave out the defender on Saturday in favour of more attacking options on the bench.

Playmaker Marcus Maddison is still suspended as he serves the second game of a three-match ban.

Defender Jack Baldwin (knee) and midfielder Jermaine Anderson (toe) remain long-term absentees for Posh, who head to Deepdale outside the play-off places on goal difference.
