Cowdenbeath hope to have Colin Marshall and Jordan Halsman in their ranks for the visit of Hibs.
But Sammy Stewart continues to be sidelined with a groin injury and Colin Nish is suspended.
Manager Jimmy Nicholl said: "We are going into this game with a lot of pride restored. After losing 10-0 to Hearts the players could have crumbled against Rangers last weekend, however they went out and put on a very disciplined performance that secured a clean sheet and a point.
"It will be difficult to keep out a good Hibs team but as long as the players battle as hard as they can again we have a chance."
Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs will have a near full-strength squad to pick from.
Farid El Alagui has stepped up his return from a reputure Achilles sustained back in August but needs more time.
David Gray, Scott Allan and Dominique Malonga were given a rest in midweek when Hibs beat Livingston 2-1 but could return to face the Blue Brazil.
