Livingston vs Rangers preview - McCall poised for Ibrox bow

Posted Saturday, March 14, 2015 by PA

New Rangers boss Stuart McCall will lead his team out at Ibrox for the first time on Saturday when the club host Livingston in Scottish Championship action.

But McCall says defender Richard Foster could be set for an extended break after confirming he may require hernia surgery.

He does hope, however, to have Cammy Bell back in action soon after the goalkeeper survived Thursday's Under-20 match with Ross County without aggravating his shoulder injury.

Newcastle loanees Kevin Mbabu, Gael Bigirimana, Remie Streete, Shane Ferguson remain on the sidelines along with Sebastien Faure.

Livingston will be without Brad Donaldson who remains out with an ankle injury.

Jordan White should return after illness forced him to miss the 2-1 defeat by Hibs in midweek but Nejc Prepatonik is struggling with a hamstring injury.

Manager Mark Burchill said: "We did well at Hibs, however we lost our concentration after we equalised and that cost us a point. However there were plenty of positives to take and we will look to build on them at Rangers.

"We ran Rangers close before and I am looking for us to do so again."
