Airdrie vs Morton preview - Same squad for Diamonds

Airdrie will again be without striker Jim Lister against league leaders Morton.

Lister is nursing a groin injury as the Diamonds prepare to face the team from Greenock for a sixth time this season.

The hosts go into the game on the back of a 1-0 win at Ayr United that lifted them into fifth place, and manager Gary Bollan said: "Jim missed that game through suspension so we will be along the same lines as we were in midweek.

"It was not our best performance but we had to dig deep to get the win. I would imagine we will need that approach again against a Morton side who we have played out close games with all season. "

Morton have everyone available with the exception of Joe McKee, who suffered a gashed forehead this week while in action for the development side.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "I watched Airdrie win on Tuesday and they put in a really hard working performance to get their success.

"Every game in this league is tough and unpredictable and we will have to be at our best to take anything from this one.

"We let our standards slip by a small amount against Forfar and paid the price. We do not want that to happen again, especially at a tough venue like the Excelsior Stadium."
