Portsmouth vs Luton Town preview - Chorley back for Pompey

Ben Chorley returns to the Portsmouth squad for the visit of Luton.

Defender Chorley missed last weekend's 1-1 draw at Accrington through suspension after he was sent off for a second bookable offence at Northampton the previous Tuesday.

Midfielder Wes Fogden is pushing for his first start in 10 months having made two substitute appearances since recovering from the knee injury he suffered in pre-season.

On-loan West Ham striker Paul McCallum will be hoping for a recall having missed out on a place in the squad on Saturday despite completing his seven-match ban.

Paul Benson could make his long-awaited return to the Luton squad against his former club.

The striker, who had a loan spell at Fratton Park two seasons ago, came through another 90 minutes for the development squad this week - almost four months after breaking his leg against Mansfield on November 29.

Winger Ryan Hall is back in contention after overcoming a bout of illness but midfielder Pelly Ruddock Mpanzu has suffered a set-back in his recovery from a hamstring injury and will now see a specialist.

Goalkeeper Mark Tyler and midfielder Nathan Doyle remain out but both players are making good progress in their recoveries from knee problems and should soon be available.
