Exeter City vs AFC Wimbledon preview - Tried and tested formula for Exeter

Exeter boss Paul Tisdale is likely to name an unchanged side for the visit of AFC Wimbledon after the win against Carlisle.

Having named the same side for the last two games, Tisdale admitted it would make sense to keep faith with the same XI after they came through unscathed.

Craig Woodman is nearing a return after a hamstring problem which has kept him out for three weeks, but he is unlikely to be risked.

Matt Oakley and Graham Cummins are two players who were singled out for praise by Tisdale after making an impact from the bench during last Saturday's 3-1 win and could be an option should the manager wish to freshen things up.

Wimbledon defender Jake Goodman is close to returning but the trip may come too soon.

The on-loan Millwall youngster played for the Dons' under-21s on Monday having recovered from a broken toe, but boss Neal Ardley does not want to rush him back into the first team.

Goalkeeper James Shea is still out with an ankle injury so Joe McDonnell will deputise again, while young midfielder Tom Beere has a hamstring strain.

The Dons this week had to bid farewell to veteran defender Andy Frampton, who announced his retirement having been sidelined since November with an ankle injury.
