AFC Bournemouth vs Blackpool preview - Arter banned for Cherries

Posted Friday, March 13, 2015 by PA

Harry Arter will miss Bournemouth's clash with Blackpool after being hit with a one-match ban.

The midfielder was charged by the FA following an incident in the 5-1 win over Fulham last week and must serve an immediate suspension.

Eunan O'Kane and Dan Gosling have returned to training to give Eddie Howe's men a boost, but they are unlikely to be thrown straight into the side.

Yann Kermorgant and Ryan Fraser, who were rested as a precaution, are also in line to return to give Howe a full complement to choose from.

Michael Jacobs has been added to Blackpool's squad ahead of the trip.

The Wolves winger has joined on loan until the end of the campaign and links up with a squad which will also be boosted by Charles Dunne, back from suspension, and striker Gary Madine, available again having been ineligible to play against Sheffield Wednesday.

Seasiders skipper Jamie O'Hara is struggling with an ankle injury but manager Lee Clark is hopeful he will be fine after holding him back in training this week, while Tony McMahon and Andrea Orlandi (thigh) could both come back into the mix following injury.

Miles Addison cannot play against his parent club while Niall Maher (groin), Henry Cameron (ankle) and Mark Waddington (foot) are all still out.
