Chelsea may be forced to tie contract negotiations with Branislav Ivanovic, amid speculation that Real Madrid are interested in his services, according to reports from the Daily Mail.
The 31-year-old, who will see his contract expire at the end of the current campaign, is yet to sign a deal with the Blues, alerting European champions over a possible move.
Paris Saint-Germain are also said to be keen on acquiring the service of Ivanovic, which will give the Serbian a plethora of options should he descide to leave Stamford Bridge.
However, due to his age, the club is likely to only offer him a new one-year deal, a factor that could sway him towards a new challenge next January.
Ivanovic is known for his consistency both in attack and defence on the right flanks, starting all 27 of his team’s Premier League fixture, scoring four goals so far this season.
