Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Montella has reassured his club's supporters ahead of Monday's game at Lazio that he will remain at the club next season.

Montella is being linked with a summer switch to AC Milan should the Rossoneri decided to part company with coach Filippo Inzaghi.

However, the former Roma forward, who is under contract with the Viola until June 2017, has no intention to leave Fiorentina any time soon.

Montella told his club's website: "My rapport with the club remains the same.

"There is maximum respect between us.

"Nothing has changed with regards to the start of the season.

"We will move forward together, I see no reason why it should be otherwise."

Fiorentina head into the contest at the Stadio Olimpico brimming with confidence after ending Juventus' 47-match unbeaten home run in Thursday's 2-1 triumph in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg.

The victory stretched Fiorentina's unbeaten run to 11 games in all competitions.

Fiorentina had previously won 1-0 at Inter Milan to climb to fifth position in Serie A, just thee points adrift of third-place Napoli.

"I'm happy that our fans are dreaming but we don't have room for that," Montella said. "What matters is that the team continues to do well."

Rivals Lazio will have to keep a close eye on Fiorentina's red-hot winger Mohamed Salah.

The Egypt international scored twice against Juve in midweek to increase his tally to six goals in seven matches since arriving on loan from Chelsea in January.

Lazio were also in action in the Coppa this week and drew 1-1 at home to Napoli.

Wednesday's outcome followed their 3-0 triumph at Sassuolo, Lazio's third straight league win.

The Romans are fourth in the standings, two points adrift of Napoli and just one point clear of Monday's rivals.

"There are still 13 games remaining and we have to keep running," Lazio coach Stefano Pioli said. "We want to get as many points as possible and only at the end of the season, will we look at the table."

b Lazio are still without the team's leading scorer Stefano Mauri, out injured while midfielder Marco Parolo is suspended.

The visitors are without midfielder Alberto Aquilani, who must serve a one-match ban.
