Tranmere Rovers 2 : 3 Dagenham and Redbridge - Daggers dent Rovers survival hopes

Two goals in four second-half minutes for Dagenham from Ashley Hemmings and Billy Bingham eased their side's lingering relegation fears in a 3-2 win at Tranmere.

Jennison Myrie-Williams' seventh-minute sighter flashed just shy of the Daggers upright as Tranmere started like an express train.

Jamie Cureton dragged a shot wide in the 32nd minute following a neat interchange with Luke Howell at the other end as Dagenham started to build some momentum.

But Cureton atoned for the error on 40 minutes, however, placing a classy lob over the exposed Owain Fon Williams after running onto Andre Boucard's ball over the top.

Tranmere substitute Dan Gardner curled a stunning equaliser into the top corner from the edge of the box just three minutes later.

And Bingham's goal-bound effort was then blocked by Rovers' Adam Dugdale just before the break.

Hemmings put the Daggers back in front five minutes into the second half when he found the bottom corner with a mesmerising strike with the outside of his foot.

In a game of spellbinding goals, Bingham scored from 30 yards with a sweetly-struck 53rd-minute drive to put the visitors in control.

Cureton missed a guilt-edged chance to compound Tranmere's misery when he stroked the ball over the bar with just Fon Williams to beat, before Max Power drilled in to ensure a nervy finish in which Janoi Donacien blazed over late on.
