Greenock Morton vs Forfar Athletic preview - McKee doubt for table-toppers

Joe McKee is new leaders Morton's only injury concern for the home game against Forfar.

Midfielder McKee sustained a knock in Tuesday night's 4-0 victory against Stirling Albion, which sent the Greenock men to the top of the table.

Manager Jim Duffy said: "Stirling were better than us for most of the first half and deserved to be winning. I'm delighted that we got the three points, but there are things we can improve on.

"Forfar have a lot of players that have played a lot of games and that experience makes them very difficult opponents."

Forfar manager Dick Campbell has delayed naming his side for the Cappielow encounter as Iain Campbell, James Dale, Dale Hilson and Gavin Swankie are all facing late fitness tests.

Campbell said: "It is not ideal preparation, however we will get on with things and look to put on a big performance against Morton.

"This is a big game for us and getting a win as well as keeping Dunfermline eight points behind in the play-off race would be a terrific afternoon's work.

"I watched Morton in midweek and while they won handsomely I saw a couple of things we will look to exploit."
