Brechin City 1 : 1 Dunfermline - Club record for Brechin

Posted Wednesday, March 04, 2015 by PA

Brechin made it a club-record 16 matches unbeaten after coming from behind to draw 1-1 with Dunfermline.

The hosts were stunned after just 34 seconds when Josh Falkingham fired Dunfermline into the lead.

Michael Moffat almost doubled their advantage midway through the first half but his header was beaten out by Graeme Smith.

Pars goalkeeper Ryan Scully denied Robbie Barr an equaliser with a fine save after 34 minutes.

But Scully could do nothing to prevent Paul McLean hitting the leveller, and creating a piece of history, when he latched on to Ryan Ferguson's pass and slotted home 13 minutes into the second half.
