Almeria vs Deportivo La Coruna preview - Almeria pace can hurt us - Juanfran

Deportivo La Coruna defender Juanfran is wary of facing Almeria's lightning quick forward line in Saturday's Primera Division clash at the Estadio de los Juegos Mediterraneos.
The game is crucial to both clubs' hopes of survival, with the teams heading into the weekend in 15th and 16th spots, respectively, and separated by just one point.
Almeria beat Depor earlier this season at the Riazor and, while Juanfran hopes his side can avenge that defeat, he is concerned about the damage pacy forwards Thievy Bifouma and Welington Silva could do.
"Almeria's biggest asset is their speed. They have players that can cause you real problems in one-on-one situations," the 26-year-old told a press conference.
"But if we do things well we can get the victory. They beat us right at the end at the Riazor in an ugly and dreadful game and we are very keen on playing well again, and picking up points, which is the most important thing, so that we can get away from the relegation zone."
Almeria have only won once at home this term, but Juanfran does not think that statistic gives his side an advantage.
"We shouldn't be looking at statistics - we just have to go out to win," he said.
"We lost this game in the first half of the season and we have to try to get more points in the second half than in the first. Every game in the second half of the season is a final and this is another one. We have to focus on winning and go out and do that. We have to be intense and aggressive."
Deportivo will be missing a total of five players for the trip to the south of Spain, with Toche, Diogo Salomao, Luis Farina, Helder Postiga and Alberto Lopo all out injured. Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ruben Martinez is Almeria's only absentee.
While Juanfran is concerned about his opponents' pace, Almeria coach Juan Ignacio Martinez believes the mental aspect of the game will be even more important.
He told a press conference: "We have to be very focused because they have the technical ability to control the game and they will try to take the ball from us.
"Whoever has the coolest head during the game and goes onto the pitch with that mentality will have the game half won."
