Stranraer vs Dunfermline preview - Rumsby blow for Blues

League leaders Stranraer will be without Scott Rumsby for the visit of Dunfermline.

Rumsby has an ankle injury while Sean Winter has been ill this week and is a doubt along with on-loan Rangers striker Daniel Stoney, who is struggling with a back problem.

Blues boss Stephen Aitken said: "We lost to Morton last weekend but I was pleased with the performance. If we can put in a similar performance against Dunfermline but cut out the mistakes that cost us goals I will be pleased.

"This is a big game and we know that Dunfermline will attack us."

Ryan Wallace (pelvis) remains sidelined for the Pars while Andy Stirling has left the club to join Stirling Albion on loan.

Dunfermline boss John Potter said: "Our position is fairly simple in that we need to win games to get back into the top four. Stranraer are a good side but we have a decent record down there and we will go and be positive about getting the win.

"We have had a couple of disappointing results in a row but it is time to move on from them. If we defend properly and take the chances we create we can win."
