Shrewsbury Town vs Northampton Town preview - Demetriou fit for Town
Posted Friday, February 27, 2015 by PA
Mickey Demetriou is available for Shrewsbury despite being stretchered off in a neck brace last week.
The defender needed oxygen after colliding with Kayode Odejayi in Saturday's 2-1 defeat at Tranmere and, after hospital checks, was given the all clear.
Liam Lawrence is a doubt with a dead leg, Andy Mangan is weeks away after a knee operation and Nathaniel Knight-Percival and James Wesolowski (both knee) are out for the season.
Callum Burton, James Caton and Aaron Wildig have all returned from loan spells to boost the numbers.
Northampton defender Ben Tozer has been ruled out for up to six weeks with a knee injury.
He suffered meniscus damage and will miss the majority of the Cobblers' Sky Bet League Two run-in.
Zander Diamond is available after a hamstring injury, though, and Lewis Hornby is back after a dead leg but John-Joe O'Toole is suspended.
Goalkeeper Shwan Jalal is expected to be added to the squad after arriving until the end of the season.
