Cheltenham Town vs Tranmere Rovers preview - Trio set to start for Robins

Cheltenham look set to include their three new signings when they welcome Tranmere.

While Scunthorpe midfielder Matt Sparrow and Bury's Pablo Mills are likely to make their debuts, fellow new recruit Shaun Harrad, who arrived on loan from Notts County, will not be pulling on a red and white shirt for the first time having spent a season with the club in 2012/13.

With all three likely to be involved, Russell Milton's squad, who currently sit in the relegation zone, could have a very different look to it but one player likely to keep his place is Wes Burns after his opener at Accrington last time out.

The Robins are without a Sky Bet League Two win in eight and their last clean sheet arrived back in September.

New Tranmere signing Jordan Hugill will hope for involvement.

The Preston striker, who has been out since September because of a knee injury, is considered fully-fit again and links up with his old Port Vale boss Micky Adams at Prenton Park.

Defender Josh Thompson has been ruled out through concussion, but Adams is hopeful of bringing in another option for his backline before the trip.

Midfielder Rob Taylor (hamstring) is doubtful while Cole Stockton (hernia), Matt Hill (Achilles) and Marcus Holness (knee) are all still missing.
